Birthday Boys

November 20th is one of my favorite dates of the year. My baby boy turns another year older and my Hot Rob grows another year wiser. This year Tobin entered toddler hood and we celebrated year two.

We had a great time celebrating with friends. We had yummy chilly and chocolate chip cake.

Out little two year old is a little obsessed with trains so we took the celebrating to the Transportation museum. It was a little boy's paradise.

Tobin behind the controls in of a steam engine. Watch out!!!!

Loving every step.

Running through one of the train cars.

In awe.

We continued celebrating at the Whittle Stop Railroad, Train store. Tobin could have stayed there all day long. We'll be making a return trip, for Tobin only explored about 3 feet of the 14 foot train table.

A little of this and a little of that

Tobin LOVES animals. No, we don't have pets(poor baby)but we try to allow him to be around animals as often as we can. We take trips to the Humanes Society. We let him out in the backyard when the neighbors let their dogs out in thier backyard. He cuddles with mom and dad's cat when we visit them. A couple of weeks ago we went to Suson Park in South, St. Louis County. This park is a trek from the city but well worth the drive. The park has a lot of farm animals that are so much fun for our little city dweller.

Every time the goose honked Tobin let out a belly laugh.

He was all about the pony when it was on the other side of the fence.

Tobin realizing that he's sporting one of his loves in life-Elmo. Thanks Aunt Emma.

Our baby is getting to be a big boy.

October-Where did you go?

Wow!!!!! What a crazy couple of months. Most of you that read this know that we bought a house and moved in the last week of September. Packing up a house with two, small boys is not that simple but we're settled in now and I'm ready to blog. So hear we go.....

I love October. It's one of my favorite months. Leaves change color, the temps cool down and it's time for a trip to the pumpkin patch.

Tobin's favorite part about the pumpkin patch was the giant sandbox that included lots of dump "tucks"

My handsome men.

Happy man.

Daddy and Tobin went on a wagon ride.

Tobin, looking for the best pumpkin to take home.

My cute, little pumpkins. Right after this picture was taken the pumpkin behind Corwin rolled out from behind him and he toppled right over. :(

Like I said, the last couple of months have been busy and have worn us all out. Tobin has been so tuckerd out that he's been falling asleep during lunch.

Corwin had his first bites of babyfood and I'll let you guess if he liked it or not.

Tobin was "Cat in the Hat" for Halloween. Or I made him dress up like "Cat in the Hat". He LOVES "Cat in the Hat". We were in K-mart and he saw the coustume and kept saying "Hat", "Hat". I took that to mean "Mommy, I want to be "Cat in the Hat" for Halloween" :) He may like "Cat in the Hat" but he does not like to dress up like "Cat in the Hat" As soon as I put his costume on him he kept repeating "Owey mommy, Owey".

Brother's hand-me-down. Just as cute on Corwin as it was on Tobin.

A visit from the Southern Aunts

We were blessed with a visit from Rob's sister and her girls and Rob's aunt Emma. If they would have stayed with us all 4 of them would have had to sleep on our two couches. So, my mom and dad did us a HUGE favor and allowed us to come and camp out at their place. Thanks mom and dad. It was such a nice visit.

Aunt Emma and all the kiddos.

We took the two oldest kids to a Children's museum. Tobin enjoyed driving the Firetruck.

He also enjoyed pretending to be a receptionist at the fake Dentist office. He was completely in his element.

Tobin and Mabyn enjoyed each other-most of the time.

Melrose was in awe of Corwin's hair.

The two curly heads cooling off infront of the TV.

Brother with his boys, Sister with her girls.

Bye Bye Curls

Yes, Tobin got a haircut. Boo Hoo. It was a sad day for me but it needed to be done. He had been mistaken for a little girl way too many times.

He loved climbing on the chairs.

A before shot of the cute curls. :(

Such a big boy.

I think he likes his new haircut.

What Big brother has been up to

We are in full toddler mode. Tobin is into everything and keeping him occupied/entertained is a full time job.

One night I was cooking dinner and Tobin emptied this cabinet and made it his little hide out. He kept opening the door and saying "hello". Hey, I was able to prepare dinner and Tobin was fully entertained.

When grandma was staying with us she let Tobin watch her make a meal(thanks grandma). Now, every time I'm putting a meal together Tobin goes over to the stool and whines. He wants me to pull the stool over to the counter so he can "help". Tobin loved helping me make playdough on this day.

Water Boy

My boy loves him some water. He has no fear when it comes to water and it sometimes scares his momma. These are pictures from a water park in Cape Girardeau. YES, that's right-Cape Girardeau. Cape is moving up in the world when it comes to activities for children. So, now visiting grandma and grandpa is extra special because there are so many fun things to do.

You can't really tell from the picture but Tobin was flapping his arms with excitement. There were buckets on poles and when those buckets filled with water they spilled over. Tobin could have watched them all day.

Tobin loved this chair. Not sure why. It could have been because he was so tuckered out.

A great time had by all. We will definately be going back again and again.
