St. Patty's Day

So, there's something to be said about Good Ole Small Town Parades. We decided to attend the St. Louis, downtown St. Patty's Day Parade. OH, WOW!!!!!!! I knew it was going to big and read somewhere that it's one of the largest in the US but REALLY???!!!!! We got there about 45 minutes early and couldn't even get our stroller through the crowd. It was CRAZY!!!! It was definitely an adult parade. Our poor kiddos weren't able to reach any of the candy and couldn't see much of the parade. Good thing we paid 3$ for parking and not 10$ for parking. It was an hour out of the house and a lesson learned.

Christmas 2012-Oh How Long Ago you were

Christmas was forever ago but I'm going to try to remember the activities that revolved around our celebration. This is mainly for our memory bank when we get old and gray(or more gray). We had a fantastic Christmas!!!!! I had a little attitude about Christmas this year because we were going to be alone but it ended up being a blessed time with our kiddos and we created many memories(hopefully). :) The first thing we did was attend Zoo Lights. Tobin enjoyed the lit up penguins. He liked them so much he was a little affectionate with them. After seeing the fake birds we moved onto the living. Ander tried to stay warm. Tobin decided we were lost so thought he should sit down and look at the map to help us out. That's our Tobin. Tobin standing in awe of this huge, white bearded stranger. The next Christmas event was making our first "ghetto" gingerbread train. Christmas Eve was a time to get our jammies on and go search for Christmas lights. We came home and went through our stockings. Christmas Day we opened gifts and made our traditional candy cane cookies.
