We have for sure entered the "Terrible Twos". I have been pulling all the books out and praying for A LOT for patience. I really feel like God allows this "Terrible Two" phase to also come with some two year old comic relief. Two year olds are so stubborn and selfish but also so stickin cute and funny.
Tobin has always struggled with having a little brother. He either ignores Corwin or body slams him. Now that Corwin is getting a little older and playing with some of Tobin's toys, Tobin is having to learn about the whole "sharing" thing. We are really trying to stress to Tobin the importance of taking care of his brother and others.
The other day Tobin brought a toy over to Corwin. I went into my "over the top" mode of praising Tobin for this action. I then went to put some dishes away and the next thing I knew I heard Corwin screaming. I ran into the living room to find Corwin buried in a mountain of toys. I guess I went a little too over the top with my praising. :)
Tobin is always a good help of "helping" me empty the grocery bags. I have had a whole carton of eggs smashed all kinds of items put in the wrong places and several containers or boxes opened. Tobin is a great helper. The other day I was putting away the groceries and I heard Tobin in the other room saying "wunch mommy, wunch mommy". I looked in the dining room to find Tobin sitting at the table with a jar of peanut butter in front of him. I guess putting groceries away worked up an appetite.
Gram and Poppi gave Tobin money for his birthday. We bought him what all two year old boys want-a Little Tykes Firetruck. Let me just say I think someone could make a lot of money by just offering their services to assemble toys. We had to watch a tutorial on-line to know how to put this little firetruck together. Tobin was a little impatient(I don't blame him) and decided it wasn't necessary to have wheels on his firetruck. Mommy and daddy were close to deciding that if Tobin was ok with no wheels we were ok with no wheels too.

I love the picture of Corwin covered with toys...Tobin responds well to positive response! Glad you had some time to update your blog with these fun picures.
