Skin Heads
It has been over one hundred the last couple of weeks and our boys have been sweating like little piggies. This momma hated to do it but we said goodbye to Tobin's curls and Corwin's shaggy, blond hair. :(
Our boys HATE haircuts. They have had lots of haircuts but we have never done the job ourselves. Because it costs money and it's torture for our boys we decided to puschase some clippers and just get rid of the hair all together.
Well, the torture continues. We put a movie on, put a sheet on the floor and went for it. OH, MY!!!!! It was as if we were going to cut their heads off. I was actually afraid we were going to cut their heads off.
So, it happend. Bye, bye curls and bye bye soft,baby, blond hair. They are still as cute as can be but look a little red-neckish. I don't know if you've seen the movie "War" but the two of them look a lot like the back woods, little boys in this movie. They both have little tuffs of hair behind their ears, neckline and every here and there. Oh, well, mommy and daddy are still learning.

Well Done! I like it. They look much cooler...and older! Still cute as ever.
Maybe the ice cream bribe will help with the next hair cut :)
Love it! Thomas still hates having his head shaved, and we've been doing it a year now. It's just so much easier!
They look super cute! We will often times buzz them outside (much easier clean up with that fine baby hair!) and bribe them with candy throughout the process (they can start with a sucker, then get a skittle for every few minutes they do well). Nice work.
