Easter

We started Easter weekend by making Resurrection Rolls. Tobin dipped a marshmallow(Jesus) in cinnamon and sugar(burrial spices) and rolled it in a crescent roll(tomb). When the crescent roll was finished baking the marshmallow had melted(Jesus was no longer in the tomb)-He had risen.
We cut into the crescent roll and Tobin said "Jesus isn't there"
Grandma and Grandpa came to spend the weekend with us and we packed a lot in. The first thing we did was dye easter eggs. This was the first time my boys had dyed easter eggs. As soon as we got the color tablets out Corwin put the orange one in his mouth. You'll notice he has orange lips. He then thought it was a whole lot easier and faster to just dip his entire hand in the dye to retrieve the egg. You'll notice his hand is yellow.
Grandpa and Tobin discovered baby robins in the backyard.
The boys got Easter baskets and Tobin was very excited about the candy. He started taking the candy out and eating it as fast as he could. He acted like we were going to take it away from him if he didn't eat it. Yes, the kid NEVER gets candy. He was super excited about eating his Peeps until Papa told him he was eating a baby chick and his family was going to miss him. Tobin refused to eat any more Peeps.
We hunted Easter eggs for the first time. Tobin enjoyed it. Corwin had no idea what we were doing.
Ander enjoyed all of the Easter celebrations.
