Happy 4th

We had friends over for the 4th. We filled the pool, grilled out and sweat a WHOLE lot!!!!!!!!

Our friends brought yummy ice cream. We had the kids eat on the side walk for easy clean-up.

Corwin was a little slow on noticing there was ice cream available.

Glad we had the kids sit on the sidewalk-so are the ants.

We let the boys stay up for fireworks. We had a great view of the fireworks all over the city. Tobin would clap after every firework. Corwin would say "Cool". It was a great night had by all.

Skin Heads

It has been over one hundred the last couple of weeks and our boys have been sweating like little piggies. This momma hated to do it but we said goodbye to Tobin's curls and Corwin's shaggy, blond hair. :( Our boys HATE haircuts. They have had lots of haircuts but we have never done the job ourselves. Because it costs money and it's torture for our boys we decided to puschase some clippers and just get rid of the hair all together. Well, the torture continues. We put a movie on, put a sheet on the floor and went for it. OH, MY!!!!! It was as if we were going to cut their heads off. I was actually afraid we were going to cut their heads off. So, it happend. Bye, bye curls and bye bye soft,baby, blond hair. They are still as cute as can be but look a little red-neckish. I don't know if you've seen the movie "War" but the two of them look a lot like the back woods, little boys in this movie. They both have little tuffs of hair behind their ears, neckline and every here and there. Oh, well, mommy and daddy are still learning. So, here we go............ Before
